At the end of the month, Bill will be retiring! Whoever is buying the plant where he works is not going to pay very well, and no benefits, no seniority, not as much vacation, and bad loads…so he’s decided to retire! Good for him! He needs to take some time off!

Yeah I said it…blah, blah, blah. I’m tired of work. My boss got another job and I applied for it and didn’t get it (again). And you know what the bad thing about it is? The guy that did has been working there for less than 6 months. He came in as full time in my department, went to assistant manager in another department, and now he’s my boss. I have a feeling that they only promoted him so fast because he is building a house and spends mega-bucks there. Not that he’s a bad guy or anything, he seems nice enough. I was just a little disappointed is all…I still have the same job, but I’m getting tired of it. Any ideas on what I can do to start my own business? I’m tired of working for someone else, and Bill needs to retire…his back hurts him all the time, and he works too much too. We were joking around about playing poker for a living…just need the $10,000 to buy in to the World Poker Tournament! Any donations would be appreciated!!!

I added new pictures of the deep snow from the big snow storm. Nice deep snow all around our house and a couple of Bill and Adam moving snow. We put the cat outside in the snow, and she didn’t like it (no kidding?). She is used to sleeping and eating and nice warm blankets. She didn’t like that snow at all. Anyway, back to work again tomorrow…enjoy the new pictures.

Well there’s about 2-1/2 feet of snow outside now, and about another foot to come. I think this is the most snow I’ve ever seen. Maybe the worst was when I was a year or two old when the snow was drifted up to the roof of my Grandma & Grandpa’s garage. I remember seeing pictures of that. The year after we moved here to Genoa, we had a big snow storm that cancelled Halloween. I think that was the next in line now. I didn’t go to work today, and tomorrow is my normal day off. Bill is out using the snowblower for the third time today. We got about 6 inches in the last 2 hours. Isn’t this fun???

Well, like it says, I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. The good part is that I don’t have the bronchitis as bad as I did 5 years ago when I had to take a week off work with it. This time I had to take one pill a day for three days (which gave me diarhea) and have an inhaler for the cough. Now that my complaining is done, I got so much accomplished this weekend on my day off…drove Adam to Bordy’s to order his tux for prom, and folded clothes, and slept A LOT. Anyway, I hope spring comes soon.

Went to the doctor today finally. Found out that I have bronchitis. I had that once before about 5 years ago, it’s no fun. I got some medicine tho, so hopefully I won’t be coughing so much. My voice is finally starting to come back a little, I’ve been getting teased a lot at work because I didn’t have a voice since Sunday. Oh well, I can take it. I will also remember who did it so I can do it to them when they lose their voice, a lot of people have had it over the last few weeks. Well, that’s all for today, bye.
