Well it seems like every day off I have, I end up being sick. Hope I don’t have to go to the doctor for it…new year, new deductable on the insurance. Had to cancel the appointment for car work today ’cause I just didn’t feel like getting up so early for that (it will keep till my next day off). Anyway, even though I complain a lot, I’m glad I have a good home and a good family and a good job! That’s all for today.

Well, it had to happen, it happens every couple years. I lost my voice from a cold. The third one in a month. I hate being sick! I hate winter!

Have to take the car in on tuesday, I was going to take it in just for front end alignment, but they said it wouldn’t do any good until I get the ball joint replaced. Good thing I got the extended warranty when I bought it, that will cover the whole bill. Definately worth the extra money, it’s just about paid for itself so far. Oh, last week I had guys digging in my front yard again…seems that the shut-off for water wasn’t working so they had to dig down to fix it. They did a crappy job, left dirt all over and covered up the new sod with dirt. I had to go out to fix it. They left a shovel laying, and when they came back to get it I was out there cleaning up their mess, the guy says “guess next time I should bring a broom”, I said “yeah, and maybe a rake too”. Anyway, it looks nice now except for about a 18″ circle around the shut-off. I’ll throw some grass seed around it and that will fill in in no time. Well, I looked at them again this morning before I went to work and I think I got it figured out, so I won’t have to take them to a preparer after all. I was getting frustrated Sunday and gave up on them because I was getting a headache from them. Anyway, I got my profit sharing check last Thursday (I get 15% of my gross now). They took about half out for taxes, but what I did get went right into savings…I’m saving for remodeling our kitchen. I kind of know what I want, but Bill will want a say in it too. I’m taking them to a tax preparer…they are kicking my butt this year…too confusing. One form leads to another which backtracks to another then I need to find another and so on and so on and so on. I give up. Oh yeah, the heating pad helped the crick in my neck, it doesn’t hurt so bad today and I can kind of turn my head to the right a little more (I’m still getting old tho, no way to stop that).

Yeah, just like it says…can’t turn my head to the right without it hurting down to my butt. Slept on it wrong a couple nights ago. Been trying to get it loosened up, but need a good massage. G’night, going to bed with the heating pad…it sucks getting old. And the cold weather doesn’t help either LOL.
