Well, I went to the doctor yesterday to get the stitches out of my back, and he told me that he wanted me to take 2 weeks off. He said I shouldn’t be having as much pain as I am a week after the operation. Said I tried to do too much at work, that I might have pulled something inside there, shouldn’t have been up on a ladder. People are mad at me at work now, but hey, it’s not like I asked the doctor to give me 2 weeks off! The other doctor told me I’m anemic, so have to start taking iron pills. I swear, I’m just falling apart in my old age! LOL Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

Well, I’ll be going back to work again today (fun-fun). The back is starting to heal up, no pain to speak of…still a twinge if I move wrong tho. Have to go back in on Thursday again to get the stitches out. Hope everyone is ready for Christmas. We are going to make a ham and some other good food, and have my Mom & Pop over and possibly my brother Rick. Pat will be here possibly with his girlfriend Danielle, but Steve has to work so we might see him this week. Bill, Steve, and Adam are going to the Alamo Bowl next week…I couldn’t go cause I couldn’t get off work. Anyway, that’s all for today, bye.

Just got a call from the surgeon…the thing they took out of me came back benign, no sign of cancer! I got to take off the bandages today, looks a little gross, but no infection or swelling or anything…just gross looking stitches there yet…and red marks from where the tape got ripped off my back (LOL). Anyway, I haven’t had to take any pain pills today, but I sure know it’s there if I move wrong. Well, that’s all for now, bye.

Well, I had that drainage tube taken out yesterday (oh joy). Now I have a smaller huge bandage across my back. I have to go back in today for mammogram oh joy again 🙁 . This is why I don’t go to the doctor much unless I have to. The first one sends me to another one and another one and another one. Well anyway, tomorrow we’re supposed to go out to eat at Husker House with some of Bill’s family, that will be fun (if I go), we’ll see how I feel by then. Those other bandages are supposed to come off later today and then I can shower again (that’s a good thing). That’s all for today, bye.

All went well yesterday…but it hurts today. All fuzzy on pain pills today. Have to go back in today and have the drain tube removed, and sometime next week to get the stitches out. Don’t have to go back to work till Monday. I guess they made a nice big cut (ouch), haven’t seen it yet. They will probably change the bandage today. Oh and my new glasses are ready too, so I’ll have to get those today. Well, that’s all for now, bye.

Well, tomorrow I have to go into the hospital for a “procedure”. That’s what they call an operation nowadays. I went to the doctor last week for my migraine headaches and a general checkup, and she sent me to another doctor. I have had a bump on my back forever and I guess they think its getting too big and that I should have it removed. So I have to go in for outpatient surgery tomorrow, and have a few days off work to recouperate. They will make a nice big slice (5 or 6 inches long…ouch) and take it out. I got a prescription for pain pills filled today already, so I guess I’ll be laying around on the couch for a couple days. Then I have to keep my appointment for mammogram on Friday afternoon too…had to get all this in before the end of the year cause our deductable is met on the insurance. Well anyway, if you think of it, give me a call on Thursday to say hi. If not, that’s ok too, might just be sleeping anyway. OK that’s all for today, wish me luck! Bye.
