Son of a bitch. It’s not going right! I’m getting frustrated with the dam landscaping! Adam helps me pretty good, but it’s just going very slowly. Now I have to back it out and start the south side over. Bill wanted some plants put in on the south side, so now I have to take out what I already did so it goes in right…dam…dam…dam! There’s these little tiny no-see-um nats that bite really hard and I swell up where they bite and they itch…they like the face and ears and…Does anyone read this??? Wwaaaahhhh!! Maybe I need a pacifier (LOL). I could use some feed back here, I mean even if you don’t volunteer to help, doesn’t mean I couldn’t use some comments once in a while…just to let me know someone is there listening…or reading as the case may be. Does anyone want to help with my landscaping???? Half of my help moved out (had to fire him), he’s living with the girlfriend now. Anyway, that’s a totally different story. Well to change the subject again I switched weekends at work so I could get our anniversary off next week. I think we’ll go down to Bluffs Run, maybe get a room…that would be nice. I need another vacation…or a different job…or maybe win the lottery…or win big at the casino and retire…that would be nice too…well if anyone reads this, e-mail me, k? Bye, that’s all the venting for today.

If you haven’t been outside lately…it’s cold out. I’ve been working on getting the landscape fabric and rock down around the house. The front is done, the back is almost done, and the south side needs it yet. I need to stain the fence yet too, but every time I go out to do it, it’s too windy and I’m afraid that the stain will go all over the new concrete…don’t want that. I hope we have enough time before it really gets cold out to get all this done. Anyone want to come over and help?

Wow summer sure went by fast! Tomorrow is October 1st already. Well, we got the rest of the privacy fence in today. Have to stain that this weekend. The landscape rock is here (short by 6 bags) so we can start on that soon. There aren’t many more weekends left to work outside, I hope we can get it all done before the snow flies. We got some grass planted on the south side of the driveway, and I heard they are going to do the sod next week out front (hope so). Anyway, enjoy the weekend everybody!

It seems like any time I get any rest lately is when I get sick…guess what I am? Well, I guess I’ll just have to do a load of laundry…we need towels…(I need a vacation)…(Again)…

Well, my day off will be busy again…Bill got the day off after his big birthday celebration (ribs for supper and then fall asleep in the easy chair LOL). We’ll be outside working again. They’re done with the concrete and patio now, but we still have to even out the edges to get that ready to plant grass. Still have to do all the landscaping too. That’s all for today, bye.

Well, the concrete is all poured and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. They are coming back today to do a little fill-in of the dirt around the edges of the new concrete, and to finish the design on the front steps. We were outside yesterday with the new power washer and some scrub pads to wash the house down. It looks a lot better now…all the dirt from all the construction of the highway out front and in back got washed off. It will probably get washed again one more time before winter. The next things are getting in the landscaping stuff…the rocks and the plants and the weed barrier, then painting the garage and front porch and getting in the rest of the privacy fence and staining that…man there’s a lot of work to do before winter…anyone want to come help?
