Well, Bill took me out to Husker House for my birthday tonight (even though it won’t be my birthday till the 29th). Everything was excellent! I had the crab legs and Bill had prime rib and lobster tail. We had a great waitress (she did everything right). She found out we were going out for my birthday and brought me an ice cream sunday with a cherry on top and a candle (I made a wish). That tasted like real homemade ice cream! After that we went to the bar and had a couple of drinks and played a few games of keno. Anyway, it was a really good meal and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. That’s all for now, bye.

Well, I had a day off yesterday and I did get the room upstairs all cleaned out…then Adam says “I want to move in there”. Too bad kiddo, I offered it to you twice before…you snooze-you lose. It’s all ready for me to move the easel and canvases and paints and everything up there now, there’s good light coming in the windows and cable tv so pretty soon I’ll be able to start on my mural. I’ve got a 4×8 sheet of plywood painted white and I’m going to make something nice! It may take me all winter to get it done, but oh well. I think a nice country scene with lots of trees, maybe our house in there somewhere, maybe our old cabin in another area, who knows…anyway, thanks to you Steve for posting something to let me know you read these, and I changed the theme again. Oh yeah, your grandma W. was thinking of getting a blog started, so maybe you can e-mail her to ask her if she wants space. Bye for now, love ya!

Like it says…I hate snow! I really do! I would much rather have it be warm outside with green grass and flowers…anyway I have the day off today and plan to start setting up my art studio. I haven’t been able to paint for years, mostly because of working so much and also not having a place to do it. So if I make a place to do it, maybe I can make time to do it too (make sense?).

Well, how do you like the new look? I might change it again before I’m done, but you never know. Steve is going to take out the foreign language and put it in english (I hope). Oh yeah, the new name up top is just a start…

Yeah, another year is almost over. It seems like every year goes faster than the last. That sucks…it should be that when you’re young the time goes fast, and when you get older it slows down…but that’s just the opposite of what really happens. When you’re young it seems like everything takes forever…when you get older time speeds up. Anyway, my landscaping is almost done, but I don’t think it will get done now till spring. Bill is reluctant to do the last of the concrete for a couple of reasons, one is that we want to bury some sort of time capsule, and another is that he’s afraid that the concrete will freeze at night before it dries, and it will be ruined. Well, whatever…the rest looks nice now though. I suppose I better go to bed and get some rest now, have an early morning. Bye.
