We decided to go for a little road trip. Went to Kansas City to visit Mike and Janine. Had a free room at the casino so stayed Monday and Tuesday nights. The room was pretty nice, had a HUGE bathtub and a nice big shower. I want to put in one of those big tubs in my house someday. When you sat down in it, the water was up to your armpits. You could actually stretch out in it too. There weren’t any whirlpool jets in it, but it was still good for soaking. We went to the buffet there on Tuesday for supper…all-you-can-eat King Crab Legs for $23.99. Ate free on our comps. Boy it was good! We went for a little ride with Mike that afternoon while Janine and Nicole played the games for a while. After they all left for the evening, Bill and I both won money, and it paid for our trip. Anyway, no more vacations this year…too bad. Can’t wait till I can have 4 weeks vacation…too bad I can’t take more than a week at a time.

(12:30am Sunday morning)… We spent a lot of the day outside Saturday working in the yard. Went out and started up the mower, and Bill did a little weed-eating. Went for a drive out past the jamboree going on at the Headgates at the 4-wheeler place…not much going on there so came home & made a nice supper. Sat outside and enjoyed the weather till it started cooling off. Watched some tv and made plans for later in the week (can’t say now what they are). Going to Columbus in the morning for a trip to Wal-Mart (woopie). Time to change the oil in the vehicles again. Had the brakes done on my car a week ago, now I stop good. Next thing is a transmission flush, but not right away. Teeth are in good shape for a while, hope they stay that way. OK, that’s all for my first day of vacation! G’night.

I’m on vacation y’all!!! And to start it off, I helped clean up our patio for winter, or almost winter. Took most of the patio furniture and big umbrellas in the basement. Put away all the little turtles and bunnies and froggies and knomes and stuff in the garage. Bill cleaned out the pond ’cause when he looked out today, it was all covered with dead leaves and stuff so he couldn’t even see the fish. He also took the leaf blower and sucked up the leaves & stuff out of the rock borders. (Later…) I’m out of the shower now, boy did that feel good! I’m all clean. Maybe we’ll go for a ride to Columbus tonight yet. Well, time to blow dry my hair & get ready. Bill will be out of the shower soon & then we’ll see…OK bye.

Yup…looking forward to vacation again. Maybe we’ll take a road trip. Our anniversary is on the 23rd, so we’ll at least do a little something that day (don’t know what yet tho). Anyway, I have to work again today, so better get ready. (Boring life I lead, huh?) Oh, I forgot to mention that last week when Bill and I were finishing a little section of our fence last week, I dropped a couple of 2×4’s on my foot. Smooth move huh? The whole left side of my left foot turned purple. Now after almost 2 weeks, it still hurts a little bit. So-o-o-o now that I’m done complaining…

I get my last vacation of the year starting on the 20th of this month. I wanted to do something special for our anniversary this year, since we didn’t get to do anything on our 30th last year. I don’t know if it will work out this year, but maybe we can go on a little road trip or something…we’ll see how it goes. Anyway, nothing else special going on here, except that I bought a new pair of work shoes today (oh wow, big deal huh). That’s all for tonight.

I just saw on the news that she lost custody of her kids…awww, too bad for her. Good for the kids, maybe… Anyway, it’s just a shame that when you have money and fame combined with youth…it just makes you loose your mind, sometimes your kids, and then again sometimes your life. She makes $737,000 a month??? Wow, what I could do with that! I certainly wouldn’t waste it on drugs, that’s for sure! So…that will never happen so I better find another way to retire right?
