Well, it’s almost the end of January 2010 already. I really wish that 2 more months will go by quickly…then I’ll have a week vacation. Nothing special planned yet, probably won’t do much, never do it seems. I just take those little mental vacations to the beach.

What I should be doing is starting to work on my taxes…oh joy! Enough said about that!

OK, nothing else right now, have to get ready for work, bye.

OK, I haven’t posted anything on here for a long time. I’ve been posting small things on Facebook instead. Nothing much new here, so nothing to really write about.

We had a nice time when all 3 boys came over for Thanksgiving, and we celebrated Christmas and my birthday at the same time. Good thing we did that because we had a big 3-day snowstorm over Christmas and they wouldn’t have been able to come then.

I got the best Christmas present ever…Adam told me that he and his girlfriend Evie are going to have a baby, due in early August! I’m so excited about my first grandchild, and I can’t wait!

I’m really ready for all this snow to quit piling up. Today it actually is 35 degrees outside…a lot better than -20 degrees of a few days ago.

I don’t have anything else right now, but I’ll try to start posting on here more often. Bye for now.

Had a chicken breast sandwich with lettuce and tomato for supper. Yummy.

I haven’t written anything on here again for such a long time, so I thought I’d try it again.

I really don’t have anything interesting to write about. All I ever do is just going back and forth to work every day. Waiting for next month when I can take a week vacation for our anniversary. Probably not going anywhere, but just looking forward to time off.

It’s officially fall now…I hate this time of year. Yeah the leaves are all pretty when they turn colors and all, but they fall off and have to be raked up, and then it’s that 4 letter word (snow) that will be here soon after that. Oh well…

Anyway, I’ve been doing short posts on facebook lately, so I haven’t really kept up on this one.

OK, I really don’t have anything else right now…I lead a very boring life really…

I haven’t written anything on here for a long time. Not much new. Mainly I’ve been doing short updates on Facebook, and keeping track of other people there too.

We’re not able to make the trip to Oregon for Lissy’s wedding, but I’m taking a couple extra days off over Labor Day weekend. Going to try to go to the last state fair in Lincoln (maybe) on Sept. 3rd. If we don’t make it this year, maybe we’ll go when it moves to Grand Island next year. I’ve never been to the state fair, so I’m kind of looking forward to it. Hope it happens, but if not…oh well…

We had some hail damage last Sunday morning (9th). Adjuster hasn’t been here yet, but I don’t know if we’ll get much from it…deductable on the insurance is $1000.

Dentist again tomorrow morning…had another tooth go bad…having the permanent crown put on…I hate going to the dentist, I don’t know why I keep doing it.

Well, I don’t have to be at work till 1 today, so I suppose I should start getting ready…maybe I’ll write more again before another 2 months go by…later.

Well, we went to the fireworks show at Ag Park last night. It rained sideways on us for a while, then quit just long enough for the fireworks. We were surprised to see Mike and Janine and 2 of their boys there. I didn’t even know they were coming to Nebraska. It was good seeing them. I also saw Pat and his girlfriend Toni there. Tonight we will probably go see the fireworks here in Genoa. I had to work this weekend, which sucked.
Anyway, happy 4th…

OK so I yelled at the guys at the Ford place because they didn’t fix my car. And I took it in again today and now it works again. Told them they better not charge me anything for doing it.

I took it in last week because it was blowing warm air out on the AC, the heater wasn’t shutting off. So they replaced the $65 part with $435 worth of labor, plus the $75 for the 3 hour diagnosis. They robbed me blind and then didn’t even fix the problem…AND the mechanic left one of his tools on the floor under the front seat, AND neglected to put the cover piece back on behind the inside drivers door handle…although I can’t imagine why they would need to take the cover off the door when they’re taking off the dash…

Well anyway, it works now!

OK I’m alright now. Feels good to let off some steam
