Looks like I used that title last year at this time…hmmm, lets see what I wrote then, brb…. looks like last year at this time we had just gotten the privacy fence in.  This year, we just got done painting the living room and hallway and the window and door trim.  Looks really nice.  Next we will be looking at vinyl flooring for the kitchen and will paint the cupboards and walls and ceiling.  We’ll just have someone put in the floor, Bill’s got someone in mind who won’t charge us an arm and a leg to do it.  That’s all for now.  Oh, yeah, the picture at the top looks GREAT!  Thanks Steve!

Yup, had fun.  I set a certain amount for myself to spend when we go to the casinos, and when it’s gone, I quit.  Well I did spend it.  Had fun learning roulette with Sheri.  I was doing pretty good there for a while.  Everybody had fun, and we ate at the steakhouse there.  I got the king crab legs, and MAN were those great!  So tasty!  Bill got double lobster tail, and he said those were great, too.  I’m going to try to load a picture onto here, but nothing to do with last night.  Just a picture I took when I was riding my bike last Spring.  Janine and Mike need to send me pictures that they took last night.  I need to get a camera phone…later………………………………..looks like it didn’t work…oh, well.  I’ll send it to Steve finally….bye.

We’re going to Council Bluffs on the 23rd with Sam & Sheri, Mike & Janine, Joe & Tammy, and Steve is coming too.  We’re celebrating Sheri’s 40th Birthday, as well as Bill’s, Mike’s, and Joe’s birthdays.  Going to the casinos, eating at the Jack Binions Steakhouse in Horseshoe Casino, the game will be on in the bar next to the steakhouse, and later on we’re taking advantage of a free room offer at Harrahs (regular price of a room there is about $300).  Sounds like a lot of fun! 

Just like it says…anyway, we’re looking forward to celebrating Bill’s birthday, and also his sister Sheri’s 40th birthday.  A bunch of us are going to the casinos and out to eat to celebrate on the 23rd.  Got a room at Harrahs so we won’t have to drive home late at night.  It sounds like a lot of fun.  Some of the people are planning on going to the game too (personally I’m not that much into football).  Anyway, gotta go get ready for work again.  That’s all for today.

Well, it’s time to think about changing my ISP…they can’t seem to filter out the spam anymore.  I just got SEVEN of them in one day.  I don’t know about you, but that’s a lot to me.  I’m used to not getting e-mail, much less seven in one day…LOL…I guess that makes me not very popular huh?  Anyway, maybe I’ll forward all the ones I’ve gotten since the 4th of July to the server…maybe they’ll do something about it then.  Ssooo……I get 3 weekends off in a row starting this coming weekend.  I get a 3 day weekend over Labor Day weekend (yay).  Now if there’s just something I can think of to do where there aren’t a million people around.  Well, I guess that means I get to enjoy my patio.  Grill out, maybe have some people over, maybe have a drink, or two?  Should do something though.  Oh, I know what I could do…take some time to send Steve the picture for across the top of the site…oh yeah Steve, why does it say “Howdy” at the top right of the page I use to write the post?  Can you change it to “Hi”?  I don’t feel like a cowboy (or cowgirl) today LOL. OK then, that’s all I got for today.  If anyone reads this, leave a comment or e-mail me with some news or just to say hi, K???  Bye 

Looks like more of what I’m used to here.  I still like the blue wave and the slogan.  Anyway, nothing else new…still go to work and back home, have a day off once in a while.  Well that’s all for now.
