It’s a tradition for all of New Orleans to dress up in costumes and party, party, party.  Here in Nebraska, it’s just a few people going to the bars.  We were invited to a pot luck sort of thing in Bellwood at the bar.  I don’t know if we’re going yet or not.  If we do, we have to bring something to eat.  Anyway, my day off started with a snooze on the easy chair with the cat, and then a shower.  Next will probably be to do a little laundry and clean the house a little.  Maybe a little later when it warms up, I might dig the bike out of the garage and go for a little ride, or maybe a walk to the post office and back.  It’s supposed to get up to 50 today.  That’s quite a change from 10 below 0.  I can’t wait for spring.  Anyway, the first week of April I have a vacation, so that’s when we’ll be getting the house ready for Adam’s graduation in May.  Have to clean out the basement for sure and get all the patio furniture outside.  Adam is the last of the boys to graduate…now I feel old.  Well, that’s all for today…I’m going to haul out the walker and try to bend over to pick up the dirty clothes to wash.  (Just kidding…I have one of those grabber things LOL)

Well, had to work till a little after noon today, then came home to change clothes.  Went to Husker House to have a nice meal, and this time it was really nice.  They didn’t try to rush us out of there like on New Years Eve.  That time, we had early reservations too (4:30)……they had us out of there by 5:05.  This time we were there same time and didn’t get out of there till 5:45 or so.  That was nice just to sit for a while before they brought the next course.  I had the same thing I always get, prime rib.  Took some home for tomorrow too.  Yummy!  Hope you all had a romantic day and spent some time with your loved ones.  Love ya!

Heard that at work today.  I wonder if someone killed her for the money, or if she committed suicide over the stuff going on with her older son…she just had a baby not too long ago, hope the kid gets raised by someone nice…anyway if I had all the money she did, I certainly wouldn’t commit suicide, would you?  Who knows, maybe she was sick, or had a brain tumor, or her implants burst…who knows, haven’t heard why she’s dead, just that she is.  Anyway, don’t know much else, so bye for now.

Anyone interested in helping me with a business plan?  Saw an article on tv about a contest with $22,000 money prize and services awarded for the best business plan.  Deadline is March 1.  Sounds interesting, but what kind of business would I start?  I suppose I should do some more research.  I’m tired of working for someone else.  But I need the insurance, so can’t quit my job.  No time to actually do any of the stuff I’d have to if I want to start a business…whatever kind of business that would be, I haven’t a clue.  Anyway, I don’t have the educational background to understand most of what I was reading that they required for this contest.  Maybe I should go back to school, take one course at a time.  Hmmm, maybe work for a business degree or something.  Then I’d have some sort of starting place if I want to start my own business.  Anyway, I’m just making noise right now, just wishful thinking…I don’t even know what type of business it would be…if you have any ideas, let me know.  Bye for now.

Well, I went to Eau Claire, Wisconsin Wednesday and Thursday for seminars.  Same vendors, same long days, less food, didn’t learn much new. Left my neck pillow on the plane (CRAP!)  (Sure was comfy on the plane ride home tho.)  Had to close last night, then be back early this morning, then had to work an hour late, got a headache when I got home, Mostly gone now… I LOVE MY JOB!  I wish I could retire!  Can’t happen soon enough for me…How depressing…LOL!  Hey, gimme a break – I had a bad week!

And yesterday…left work yesterday, went to Walmart for a few things, had the oil in my car changed, came home and got a bad headache, missed the meeting at work, and feel like crap today…upset stomach and dizzy, generally feeling icky.  Some kind of flu probably.  Anyway, gotta go (literally).
