A sad day in Virginia, another stupid guy with a gun shoots up a bunch of college kids and then kills himself.  That’s a dude that’s in hell for sure.  Anyway…the pond is coming along nicely.  Hired Pat to dig the hole over the weekend, and went for another trip for rocks today.  Still need to buy the liner yet, but with any luck we’ll be able to fill it with water this weekend.  I don’t think we’ll put in fish yet, maybe will put some goldfish in it later on, after the plants are in and the pump and filter are running.  Will probably take a ride to Sundance Feeds in Grand Island again tomorrow for some more supplies, and pick up more rock on the long way around coming back.  I also think I’ll start doing my painting again, but will do it in any spare time I have (I hope I can find some).  I decided not to join Columbus Area Artists just yet, I won’t be able to go to any of the meetings, they are held when I have to work.  There is a meeting tomorrow, but I really don’t want to do a collage (that’s the project they have planned).  Anyway, that’s all I got today…

OK, that’s all I have to say…I wasted my whole vacation.  I did get my basement cleaned out (mostly).  It looks a lot better anyway.  Hauled a lot of stuff to Goodwill.  I need to buy some patio furnature soon, the old stuff is in bad shape and needs to be retired.  Anyway, tomorrow I think I’m going to go to the art exibit at the Columbus Art Gallery.  Have to find out if there is an admission charge…I guess I’ll have to call tomorrow morning.  It’ll be something to do on my day off.  Might even check into joining the club (Columbus Area Artists).  OK BYE.   

Only one more year till he turns 21!  We took him out to Husker House to eat.  I told him I would buy him a drink next year.  Well I’m off for a week’s vacation.  I don’t have to be back to work till next Monday.  Tomorrow will be some spring cleaning (OH, JOY).  Anyway, the whole week won’t be work.  Easter is coming up and I don’t have to work it once!  That’s so stupid that they are open on Easter…anyway…enough about work! I’m on VACATION!  I SO needed it!  Well, bye for now. 

Happy St. Patricks Day!  Are you going out for some green beer?  Not me.  The most I plan on doing is going to work and coming home afterwards.  If you do go out, have one for me and don’t overdo the green beer thing, because if you do, you’ll see green beer looking pretty gross when it comes back up.  Anyway, bye.

Well, yesterday was really warm outside.  The thermometer in my car said it was 82 degrees!  It’s supposed to be warm out again today, but not that warm.  Still it’s better than 20 below!  Have a short day at work today, and a meeting tonight.   Anyway, gotta go.  Bye

Well here it is…March 1st.  Looks like snow outside, but not as much as some places.  I hate winter!  Can’t wait till we can get outside and smell the flowers and sit on the patio in the sunshine and enjoy the outdoors again.  Right now the only things enjoying the outdoors are the birds.  Anyway, hope March does indeed go out like a lamb.  See ya!
