Cindy's Art Studio

Yeah, one moved into our pond this morning! I thought it was one of my fake ones at first, but then it moved! He’s about 15-18″ long when he stretches out to swim (he’s a BIG one) a little bigger than my fist when he just sits there. He likes to sit inside the pots of water plants that Bill put in there. We wanted to get some tadpoles, but now I guess we don’t have to. Anyway, I had a day off work today, so I went to Columbus and bought some big pots and some garden soil with Miracle Grow in it. I also bought some tomato plants, some everbearing strawberry plants, and some pea seeds. Now I have 3 nice container gardens along the west side of the garage. I also planted some grapes by the arbor (the roses I planted there last year winter-killed). Does anybody read this? (I know you do Steve, and Mom, but anybody else???) K Bye

I don’t know why I let it bother me like it does, but when my boss is an ass…well I just don’t know what to say…literally. That’s always been my weakness…not coming up with the perfect answer. Yeah, I know it doesn’t make much sense…but I work my ass off there, and all it takes is one ass to ruin a day, ya know??? Anyway…he’ll be moving on eventually, like they all do. I’ll just go day by day till I can retire. Anyway “Cindy’s Art Studio” isn’t very artsy…just fartsy…and that’s all I care to say today. K bye.

Went to Roy Bower’s funeral yesterday. Saw a lot of the relatives that I haven’t seen for a while. Kind of a sad day. Worked a 12 hour day today, and the crazy people were out today. Almost like there was a full moon or something, even though there’s not. Anyway, not much else new.

Tomorrow, it will be 30 years since I had my first baby. That IS a long time! Makes me feel old just thinking I have a kid that is 30 years old! Geez Steve, you’re old! Are you going bald yet? Not me! Well, have a good one! Don’t get too drunk. And if you do, make sure you have a DD.

Well, I went to the meeting last night. Met a lot of nice ladies, and one guy. Met at Valentinos parking lot and car pooled to Schuyler. They had their club meeting and then we watched an instructional video (8 building blocks for a better painting) from which I learned a couple things. Had some fruit and cookies and car pooled back to Columbus. One chic in the club was a real talker…she had this thing about “focal point”…she brought a drawing she had been working on, well lets just say it was entirely too busy for my taste. No other way to describe it…I guess you had to see it. The only guy there has been working on publishing a little magazine. He has a website (haven’t looked at it yet, but that’s next) www.cultureloungeonline.com so check it out. They have something coming up on July 14th at New World Inn, so I might check into that too. Had to work, but the day just FLEW by. Then Bill took me out for a steak dinner (Thank’s Bill!). Now, it’s tape the “survivor” finale and watch “desperate housewives”. OK, I’m tired, so that’s all for now. K Bye
