Yeah, I took the car in on Saturday to the Ford dealer and that’s what it costs to replace the intake manifold. I think the best purchase I ever made was buying the extended warranty when I bought my car…it’s definately paid for itself! I ended up paying only about $50 for tax and shop supplies. So I had the work done on Tuesday when I was at work, and Wednesday morning on my way to work, the Check Engine light came on. I thought what now? They screwed something up. So I turned around quick and got Bill’s car and drove that to work. Bill checked out my car and decided it was ok to drive it back to the Ford dealer. I guess it was just a loose wire (phew). Anyway, vacation in just over a week. I still don’t know if we’re going anywhere, might just stay home and go to the activities going on around here during the week. 4th of July coming up fast, so still planning on the show at Ag Park. Today The Price is Right showed it’s last episode with Bob Barker…the end of an era. We were all discussing how long he’s going to be around to enjoy his retirement. I don’t know if he’ll make it more than a year…but you never know. I wonder who they will find to replace him…somebody said Rosey O’Donel…….now that would just be WRONG! Anyway, found a fluid leak of some sort under my car and I’m taking it in to the dealer today to have it checked out. I thought at first that it was just condensation from the AC, but it feels oily. It’s not red like transmission fluid, and it doesn’t smell like antifreeze, so I don’t know what it is…better have it checked out. So, since it’s so early in the morning I’ll end up sitting in the dealer’s till it’s done. Hope it’s not serious. That’s all for now, k bye.

Had to take off my wedding ring last night, the fingers on my left hand are swelling for some reason. I almost couldn’t get it off. Maybe I’m getting arthritis or something. Anyway, 3 more weeks and I get a vacation (Yay!). It always takes so long to get to the vacation days, and they go by so fast. K Bye

Well, the black fish have been missing from the pond now for over a week, and the bull frog moved away. I can just see the bull frog hopping along carrying the black fish like suitcases…strange picture huh? Anyway, Bill thinks that the black fish are hiding in the rocks spawning or something. I think a bird or snake or kid got them. As for the bull frog, he probably wasn’t getting enough to eat and went back to the creek a block away to the east. So that’s that. K bye

And it’s windy and hot out. I’m glad to be off work for the day though. Yesterday I worked a 14 hour day. The full time girl is on vacation this week, so I worked all by myself. That sucked. I did have a little bit of help though. One of the girls who used to work in my dept. came over to cover a lunch break for me, and another came over and helped me put away a little bit of freight. Anyway, I still have to look around for something else. Maybe I’ll take a couple of classes or something. Still thinking about joining Columbus Area Artists, but probably won’t join till fall. They want $13 to join right now, but there’s only 2 more meetings before summer. After summer it will be $20 to join for all year. That’s a little better deal I think. Anyway, I have been doing SOME artistic stuff. I painted a little turtle that I bought to put by the pond. It was just plain grey colored, now I have a green turtle with a tan colored shell…turned out pretty good. I suppose I better get going. I have a lot of nothing to do, so better get started on it (LOL). K Bye
