Turkey & dressing & all the fixin’s.
Yesterday we had our turkey and all the fixin’s. Steve and Adam came for the meal. Pat didn’t make it, I’m sure because of the distance. The food was really good, and I’ll be eating leftovers for a couple days. Adam had to work later and left after dinner, but Steve stayed and watched a little of the football game. He ran in a 5k race in Omaha with Bill’s brother Joe, and Joe beat Steve by about an arm’s length (according to Steve). Anyway, Thanksgiving was a little early here, and we’ll probably have pizza on Thanksgiving Day.
I’m so glad that I don’t have to go to Wisconsin for seminars this year. I don’t have to mess with all the preparation for the “Black Friday” sales. No putting up sales on Friday nites and staying till 11pm. No more hassles. I really am glad that I’m not a manager anymore. I sleep a lot better at night, and I don’t have to work my ass off. I don’t walk as much and my foot feels a lot better because of that. I still have to wear the orthotics, but that’s ok.
I guess that’s all for today. Later…
