OK…I checked out the skid marks…
Yeah, on the way home from work I checked out the “scene of the accident”. (Heh). OK, if anyone reading this has been through Monroe on the way to Genoa, you can picture this…from the last turn to the south, going west from that corner to where they ended up (I’d say 40-50 yards before the first driveway to the north) is less than a quarter of a mile…that guy had to have been really flying! By the looks of the tracks in the grass, his back wheels slid off sideways, and his front wheels ended up right on the edge of the road. They almost took out the little brown road sign there (it shows ummm recreational info, or a state trail marker, or something), looks like they missed it by inches. Anyway…having just taken a ride on the “Wet and Wild Tilt-a-Whirl” Ride, they probably had to sit for a while! Hopefully the driver learned a lesson about drinking and driving. Get a DD!
