I was told tonight that I haven’t written anything here for a while, so here it is Mike. Bill and I went to Gloria Bonk’s wake this evening. Went out to eat with brother Mike, Joe, and outlaw Sam at Husker House before that. Good stuff! Anyway, my back is healing up nicely, still a twinge now and then but mostly good now. I’ve been working a lot lately, this week I’m scheduled for about 66 hours (fun-fun). Next week won’t be so bad, but the week after that will be about the same hours again (my boss is going on vacation). I keep thinking what can I do to start my own business that will make me instantly rich so I can retire (LOL…THAT’S A FUNNY ONE!!!). Not really much going on here I guess. Got a call from the deputy sheriff a week ago “I’ve got your son down here, can you come?” “I’d love to!” Adam was with his buds, forgot to turn his lights on, saw the cop and tried to get away from him by going around a couple of blocks and pulling into his friend’s driveway…cops can stop you when you do that and they don’t like it…anyway, he didn’t get a ticket for willfull wreckless driving, or hauled off to Madison…just got a firm talking-to from Mom and grounded for a month from his car and grounded from his phone for a week. (Hey Pat…I thought that kind of thing ended with you LOL!). Well anyway, no court date to keep and hopefully no more trouble like that.
