Ya know…I gotta start taking a different way to and from work. Heading into work this morning, I saw what looked like a big black blob flowing into the north ditch right at the county line. I thought “what the hell was that?”. Maybe it was a farmer driving his truck into the field, but no…no truck there…OH CRAP THERE’S A BIG RED TRUCK IN THE NORTH DITCH! It was laying on it’s side facing the wrong way…and there’s a guy inside. So I call 911 for the first time in my life and procede to go down to try to help him. I can’t reach the door handle to open the door, and he’s inside banging on the windows trying to get out. I step back to try to figure out how to get him out, and somehow he gets the window open and climbs up and out. He’s a hispanic guy, about 5’2-5’4 or so, short hair, wearing a maroon shirt and tan pants, young probably late teens or early 20’s. The 911 person tells me to ask him if he’s hurt, he says no (the only word of english I understood from him) and gets on his cell phone. Before I know it he’s up on the road walking toward Genoa. I thought he might be dazed or something, and the 911 person asks if I got his name (no). I try to catch him, but he’s too far ahead already, walking west toward someone else who stopped. (The officer thinks someone picked him up, because they weren’t able to find the guy). The 911 person says they’ll send a deputy and that I should go ahead and go to work. So yeah…the actual owner of that big brand new red truck said it was stolen…so now the Nance County Sheriff just left here after showing me a bad copy of someone’s drivers licence…didn’t look like the guy, but who could tell…it was a really bad copy. Anyway, after all that, I had to deal with more crap at work…that’s a totally different story. To say the very least…I had a very stressful day. I need a vacation! Or a different job…yeah, why can’t I win the lottery and retire? I’m sure that comes with a whole other set of headaches. k bye<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
